Plot |
Set ten years after The Phantom Menace , Padme Amidala (Natalie Portman) is now a senator whose life is threatened by a breakaway group from the Galactic Republic. Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) and Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen) are assigned to protect her. While Anakin escorts Padme to the safety of her home planet, Obi-Wan goes on the trail of an elusive bounty hunter and discovers a clone army being constructed at the edge of the galaxy, where we also learn something of the beginnings of Boba Fett. Throw in a burgeoning romance between Anakin and Padme, Christopher Lee as shadowy elder Jedi Count Dooku, and Yoda's first lightsabre duel and Attack Of The Clones makes for first rate escapist entertainment. |
